NLCA Rock cheerleading team is Newfoundland’s First Senior Co-ed Open Cheerleading team. It was founded by Tiffany Brien and Carolyn Power in July 2007. Last year was the teams first year competing and they placed 2nd at the National level.

In 2008 the team picked up Annette Larkin and Tracey Lawrence as additional coaches which has made the team even more.

The team practices 2 times a week at Campia Gymnastics in Mount Pearl. As well they do scheduled workouts each and every day. This year team members ran the Tely-ten with a hope of the whole team participating next year.

This team works very hard, but loves each and every moment. It is by far the best talent in Newfoundland and Labrador.
